SkinBetter Science

AlphaRet Professional Peel System 50

AlphaRet Professional Peel System 50 contains a proprietary blend of lactic, glycolic, and salicylic. It is effective in improving fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, blemishes, uneven skin tone, and dullness, along with overall skin tone and texture for patients with moderate photodamage. Little to no downtime. This is great as a standalone treatment or as a treatment between ADVATx or Eterna™ treatments. This is considered a light or level 1 treatment with no or little significant peeling or downtime (though some dryness or flaking at spots can occur).

(Suitable for Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-VI)

SKINMEDICA

The Vitalize Peel diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and addresses uneven skin tone that can be caused by acne scarring or other pigmentary changes. Appropriate for mild to moderate skin imperfections as determined by your physician. This is considered a medium depth peel. There may be some downtime, with flaking or slight peeling that may lasts two to five days.
(Suitable for Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-VI)

SKINMEDICA

Rejuvenize Peel

The SkinMedica Rejuvenize Peel is is considered a Level 3 peel, which is the deepest of the three main SkinMedica peels, and provides the most dramatic results. It is designed for patients seeking more intensive correction than a superficial peel for moderate to severe skin imperfections resulting from advanced sun damage, deeper fine lines and wrinkles, texture issues, and pigmentary concerns (including melasma and moderate acne scarring). There is some downtime, with moderate peeling that typically lasts two to seven days.

(Suitable for Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-IV; it is advised that types V-VI start with Vitalize Peel before receiving Rejuvenize Peel)
