Xeomin is a pure (double purified) formulation of botulinum toxin type A that contains only the active ingredient, free from accessory or complexing proteins. This “naked” toxin (aka the “smart tox”) design may reduce the potential for developing resistance and allows for reliable, smooth results. Daxxify is an innovative botulinum toxin type A, unique among other neurotoxins in that it does not contain any human or animal-derived byproducts, such as human serum albumin or animal proteins in its formulation. Instead, Daxxify uses a proprietary peptide-based stabilizer, which contributes to its longer duration of effect and making it an appealing choice for patients wanting fewer annual treatments.
Results may start to show as early as within 1 to 2 days and reach full effect at about 2 weeks. The smoothing benefits can last an average of 6 months and, for some individuals, up to 9 months or longer.
